Anyone familiar with Exp4 additives?
I was watching Sports Car Revolution on Speed TV and there was a segment where they were trying a product called Exp4 Gas Additive and Exp4 Fuel Additive. They said they tested the product and showed a 5% increase in hp. Is anyone familiar with this product. There is supposed to be a clip from the show on the Exp4additives web site, but I couldn't get the movie to play.

Not a Blowhole
I agree with imax - that show (and Dream Car) seem to be very tied in to their "suppliers". 5% is ridiculous - Detroit would use this in every car so it could sell more SUV's under the CAFE rules - they spend millions to get a fraction of a 5% addition.
This falls under the too good to be true law.
I mean, someone also pointed out in a recent post that Royal Purple oil (alone) gave a .5 sec reduction in his ET - that is what - equivalent to about 50 HP? P{uh-leez.
It has been shown that with fuel additives, the driver changes his driving habits - accelrates a little easier, brakes sooner, etc. In Psych 1, you may rrecall cognitive dissonance - same principle thing. We do things which tend to support our decisions.
I use Denso Iridium plugs in my S2000, as I think they are well made, and since I sopend so much time in the high rev world, perhaps a few less misfires (which they do provide) might guve me a tiny edge. But people post they get more power, lower ET's, and that the spark plugs bake bread anbd brew coffee while you sleep.
