If so, what are your monthly payments like. I think the residual on my 04 is $19,000. How do I do it?> Do I go in to an Acura dealer and look for the finance mgr?

I haven't done it yet with the TL, but plan to when my lease is up.

In the past, I've had the finance company call me when there was less than 6 months less on the lease, and talk to me about buying it, going over the options, etc. You may even be able to haggle the price a little since they will not have the cost associated with re-selling it.

My advice would be to talk to the leasing company (American Honda?), and see what they say. You may just be able to roll it into a purchasing loan and payments if you still need to finance (not really sure if they will since it's used).

I wouldn't go near the dealership unless absolutely required. I'd end up walking out with a new car.
