I have two pictures above with the clear bra.

You can't see it from a couple feet away. It is invisable.

Thanks JoganJani, I see it.

How much do those things run? And where can you get it done?

They run for around 500-700. The kit I got was a ful kit, which covers hood almost half way, full front bumper, 1/3 of quarter panel on both sides, lights, side mirror and door edges. I paid $670 with installation.

Search on "clear bra" and you'll also find some kits sold by forum vendors and group buys.

Hey guys, I just got my 2005 TL, NBP...40miles. AND you guys are scaring the crap out of me with this talk of chips! I might become like an over protective parent and only drive the car around the block after the street sweepers come through at 2am (J/K).

I knew I had my work cut out for me caring for an all black car but you guys make the TL seem like it more susceptible to chips than most other cars. What the best wax or clay to use?

I have had parts of the car repainted under warrantee already. I will complain again next time I need service. Is this normal for Nighthawk Black Pearl?

I've just noticed a slight scratch at the bottom of the left passenger door. It looks as if something stuck onto the car while it was being painted. I plan on taking it back to the dealer to see what they can do about it. Other than that, I haven't had any other problems with it since I bought it in late March. I make sure to keep it in my garage and I still use my civic as the daily grinder.
