Anybody heard of 5 Star Shine?
I was doing research on waxing products (I've seen the preference here for Zaino products).
Another product that I've run across that seems popular on some other auto forums is something called "5 Star Shine" - a PTFE (Teflon) based product.
I don't believe the claims of a product that will last for years, but a once-a-year wax would be pretty cool, especially if you get a good gloss that lasts.
Is anyone here familiar with 5 Star Shine? If you've used it, what do you think? Are PTFE-based prooducts safe to use on a car?
I don't trust the manufacturer's website, because of course they'll be hyping their product.

Here's their website: 5 Star Shine.
I read a little about it on the NICO forums (Nissan / Infinity Car Owners), but it's a little hard to read about on their board. Some of the postings are obviously by salespeople (They cut and paste whole sections directly from the 5 Star Shine website as if it's their experience - pretty humorous!). It also looked like there were some decent testimonials.
I'm hoping that some folks here have had some experience that they can share with us ..

The bottom line is that most people who like polishes go with Zaino (some with dark colors like Blackfire), and those who like wax go with either Pinnacle, or Meguires.
Good luck
