I was told it is because a new car not fully broken in yet. But after 3000 miles my 05 TL auto still does the same thing. It feels like a 1990 Accord. In contrast, My previous 03 TL was silky smooth from day 1.

Also, anybody feels a shock when shifting from P to R?

My tranny is smooth in most of conditions.... except the low RPM (from 2 to 3) in jammed traffic or high RPM (2 to 3 or 3 to 4) upshifting.



Also, I do hear/feel the "crunk" while shifting btwn P and R, or R and N. I used to believe it's normal due to the FWD design. If the road has a some kind of incline, yes, you may hear it louder.
