Anybody buying a used car and need help can PM
After searching for sometime I think I've gained some knowledge about how to look for a car, check VIN stickers etc. There is no catch I'm not asking for anything in return I just have extra unused info

I'm not sure if this is a "help" thread but I'll throw my
worth...a friend bought a used TL and when I was doing the CAI and the tranny fluid change I was under his car and noticed that the "skid" plate that I needed to remove to get to the drain plug of the transmission was scuffed up very badly and while looking around I noticed that both his front tires had flat spots only on the inside of the rim...He never noticed it when he bought it and would have never even occurred to him to look there, possibly the car went airborn or it bottom out on an uneven road, who knows....

what about the drivline vibration issues? It seems to be common...i've driven three different 05s and they all had the horrible vibration and have kept me from making a purchase thus far. Is there a real fix and maybe they just didn't have it done? I can't imagine spending the money for a TL and have to deal with driveline vibration problems. These cars all had under 40k miles.
