Any reputable shops in Long Beach, LA or Pasadena?
The TL Forum has provided me invaluable information in the care and feeding of my baby, “Margie” (’06 NBP, 5AT, navi., 17k miles) She is all stock down to her factory chrome “5 spokes”. Though she is my daily driver, not a week goes by without someone asking if she is brand-new. Margie has never been valet parked, always watched start to finish at the car wash and has been known to just leave the grocery store when suitable parking could not be found.
I think it’s time to look at installing a CAI and a rear sway bar. Why? I want to do some mods while keeping the stock “look” of her (and stay within warranty).
So here’s my question. Are there any reputable shops in the Long Beach, LA or Pasadena areas that you could recommend? You see I’m not that mechanically inclined and have a bit of OCD (dangerous combination, huh?) so I would rather pay a professional and be sure that it is done correctly. I know, I know “it’s easy”. But at times, I can be my own worst enemy. The key phrase here is “done correctly”.
Lastly, any other “sleeper” type of mods. that you would recommend?
Thanks.

there are a ton of shops around socal, too many to list. for simple mods like the cai and sway bar take it to an independent honda/acura shop. s&s in west la on la cienega blvd or honcura in glendale (the uncle owns s&s and the nephew owns honcura). just google the shops.
for more expensive mods or parts try f1 motorsport in the valley or status in hermosa beach i think.
