07 TL used a couple months ago. No problems yet, one of the main reasons I didn't buy something German, I didn't want to fix it as much. From the sounds of everyone else here, seems like a good reliable choice.

The only problems I'm having are the annoying rattles that no dealer can hear, and the crazy vibration that no dealership can seem to feel... go figure. 05 TL 48k miles. I've owned it for about 6 weeks, 2 weeks at the dealer.

I guess you can fade out the rattles by blasting your radio. I would gladly take something that sounds more like a snare than metal type noises.

Mine is an auto, and turning up the radio makes the rattles worse.... half of the rattles come from the package shelf.

Bought my 07 TL-S for 24K with 39K miles. One-off problems included replacing the entire driver seat (rails, motor, cushion bottom and back) from what I suspect was a very large previous owner, and replacing the HFL. All work was done under warranty, and I'm in love with the car. Just bought an extended warranty from Bernardi before the online sales for warranties are banned on Nov 1st... that cost $1,285 for 5yrs/60K from purchase date - well worth it with all the electronics on the car.

Bought my 04 around March earlier this year. Car hasnt given me issues despite the high mileage. Small things I have noticed are rattle in the rear deck (typical problem) and bulbs that love to go (steering wheel, mirror control) out but they are replaceable.

Man.. I bought my 05 TL for 16,000 with 32,000 and it now has a little over 70,000. The only problems i had were with the handsfree and the factory sub blew within the first few months. I read a few post and got the handsfree working and bought a replacement speaker, other than that the car is perfect I love it. No other problems so far

I got an 04 Black on Black 6 spd for with 130k 5500. I had to put some money in. Cost me like 6500 total. Not worried about the mileage with a six speed. If it be auto would never buy it.

As for the rattles they seem to be coming from the rear view middle mirror inside the car area!! But yes like all the other owners here I just turn up the radio......

I forgot to mention my entire navigation was replaced because lines were running through it as well as my amplifier bc an electric buzzing was coming from the rear speaker, also are arm-rest bolts were missing from factory, and my window came completely out of the sill one time!!! lets not forget my entire tranny was taken out to replace my third gear which would lock me out on frequently before having it replaced..... My car was one of the first type s models ever built though I actually purchased it in late 2006!!

I bought a used 05 6-speed w/ 20k miles on it almost 2 years ago. Here are the following problems all fixed under warranty:

- PS Hose recall
- Squealing front brembo brakes (updated under TSB)
- Rattling catalytic converter
- Notchy 3rd gear problem (updated under TSB)

For the price I paid I'm very happy. I purchased car for $24k back then from a private party in San Diego (I live in Las Vegas). Kelly Blue Book said it was worth $29 at the time. And since it was private party, I didn't have to pay sales tax when I registered it. Definitley worth the hassle of doing buisness out of state.

BTW: Acura always gives loaners when doing dealer service that takes longer than a couple hours. Be sure to ask for one...

No issues here. The previous owner of my car was a nut about maintaining it. Literally, every single piece of work ever done to the car was documented, etc. Not a single door ding on the car either. Makes me happy.

Check out this deal, probably the best deal I've seen in Canada, 06 6MT navi for $19,900, and it's even from an acura dealership not a private sale: http://www.waterlooautomall.com/acur...hicle?id=4523p
