any discounts?

hello.....

I was told that I will be getting my car this week between tuesday and thursday... so i asked saleman if the car was comin in a truck... he said no some one is driving it from another dealership and they're doing trade.... he didnt tell me where it was coming from.... so i guess my car will have some miles on it..... so wht if the car got over 100 miles(sounds stupid), should i ask for any discount cuz right now they're not giving any... my out to door price is $38200 (5AT WITH NAVI)... how do i approach them with the discount iwant....

any suggestions?

You deserve a discount, but probably won't get it.

You may want to call them back to see if someone is actually driving the car or are the putting it on a flatbed. In lieu of a discount you may want to ask/suggest that. Just a thought.

Why don't you go pick your own car up from the other dealer?? At least that way they are your miles...who knows how the dealer people are gonna drive. You don't want someone working the car too hard before the break-in period, and what motivation to these guys have to drive it well??

Dealer trade for car and has miles....

I got my car a month early because my dealer was nice enough to continue to search for it after I had placed a deposit on one that was two months out. I got it with 134 miles on it. I figured that much closer to the break in 600 number. My car is running perfectly. None of the issues posted all over this forum. I love my car and got it a few weeks earlier than otherwise scheduled. You will be fine with the dealer traded car.
Enjoy it when you get it, I know I am enjoying mine....

The most reliable car I ever purchased was on a trade from another dealer. It had about 500 miles on it since it came from a dealership far away.

The navs are a bit difficult to get these days. Supply/demand thing. I would ask for at least some freebies however; i.e. mud guards, wheel locks, trunk tray, all-weather mats, free oil changes, etc. These things cost the dealer a minimum amount and it benefits you a great deal.
