Has anyone received assistance from a dealer and/or American Honda on the tint scratching?

My driver's door is pretty bad, and hasn't "stabilized" (it still scratches). I have the moleskin but didn't want to rip apart my door to fix an inherent flaw to the car.

I don't think you will get any dealer support for tint scratching unless it was done by the dealer. Here's a thread similar to what you're asking. If you had the moleskin, how come you didn't install it? A lot of the members are very pleased with the results of installing moleskin - no scratches! There are also a few folks with no moleskin and no scratches.

I'm one of the folks who has moleskin and no scratches. Next month, my TL will be a year old. 3,000 miles.

Like I've said before in this forum, I always have the dealer contract someone to tint the windows. With this car I have had to have the driver's window retinted since it was scratched by the guide rollers (or whatever they're called) within the door. The dealer didn't quibble one bit. They fixed the rollers and replaced the tint under warranty.
