Anthracite with gunmetal wheels - nah
Sorry, Team Anthracite --
I saw one of "your kind" today on the way home with the factory gunmetal wheels on it. This look is just "too much of a good thing" IMO.
Go ahead, flame me, but that's just what I saw. It just didn't have any contrast from the side.
So, fire away, Team Arthritis-- :tflamer: :rocketwho :chainsaw:

That is your opinion and you're entitled to it. Even though it's wrong!
:tflamer:
I like the low contrast look. The wheels I ordered are gunmetal with a stainless steal lip wich will add some contrast. I felt that silver painted wheels would be to much of a contrasting color and stand out more than I'd like them to. That's my opinion, and it's right!

I think I like having "too much of a good thing." Hey, I'll take the "cajillion" positive comments on the wheels daily over the negative ones, and by a fellow TL member no less.....arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh :chainsaw:
Too each their own, I respect your opinion. And may you bow down to the almighty curb rash prone gunmetals!!!

Just my opinion, but the TL is one of those rare Honda/Acura products that is completely devoid of chrome trim. Just the aluminum around the grill and the aluminum strip on the license plate lip. As such, it really really needs some contrast- and that's where the cool design and bold aluminum-look styling "make" the car. Every time I see a TSX on the road I mistake it for a TL for just the second it takes to see the chrome around the windows and then I say "ahh....it's a TSX, again".
I love the *design* of the 18's, but the color just blows the car's look completely. I wish the 18" wheels were available in the 17" finish....
