So, I had a little chat with my service manager and Sunnyvale Acura.. and he told me the following..


-rumor that TL will have an option for convertible
-rumor that TSX will come as coupe and sedan



TL convertible???? uhhh convertible on sedan would be
but TSX coupe would be nice



anyways.. i say all these are BS rumors

Maybe he meant TSX coupe/convertable. I still think it would look dumb.

i actually heard that the tsx coupe will be coming out...again not sure if its tru or not...

The TSX coupe is most likely going to happen with the redesign. There is talk about a convertable. Don't know if it will be based on the TL or not.

That'll be the day! TL convertible and a TSX coupe?? Nah, won't sell in volume. That dealer was pulling your leg. More like just a TL coupe (ala CL) resurrection maybe. It could go head to head with the G37

2009 TL a convertable? Your right there's no evidence to support it. They could chop off the roof but that would make the car less ridged. We dont have fold down backseats in the 3g TL so I doubt they'll cut the roof off. There is alot of pics and prototypes that would suggest the new TSX will come out in a coupe and in a sedan though.
