Another eventful night...

Honestly guys...this is getting ridiculous. I don't wanna sound like "that kid that talks out of his a$$." But I really don't know what to think anymore. Either I consistently encounter sh!tty drivers or I have a 50 shot I don't know about.

Today I was driving along and am sort of pacing a 300C SRT8. We get to a light and he takes off slow them gives it gas, so I thought we may do it. The next light is relatively close and is red, and little did I know a black S5. I figured who doesn't like a lil 3 way action? Anyway, there is a kid in the S5, my age maybe slightly older. He looks over and I look over but Idk if he could see me through my tints. Light turns green and we take off harder than normal and punch it. Thru 1st I'm at his rear tire. I hit 2nd and gain ever so slightly so we are even. I shift 3rd quick and smooth and gain ever so slightly more and he ends up on my rear bumper at the top of 3rd. Am I missing something here?

Same stretch of road a little later a Tiburon with HIDs and at least bolt ons wants to play. We did a 60 roll and @ the bottom of 4th I was easily 2-3 cars ahead. I let off because I thought he gave up, then I saw him start catching me lol (oops). No contest here.

We got to the light and he was revving and did a burn out () so I was like ok fine. Went from a dig and he spun bad and let off in 2nd. We came to the next light and I rolled down the window to see whats up and what he had. He was too determined to talk, eyes staring forward lol. We got an even start and at the top of 1st I was about a car ahead and he missed 2nd so I let off. Honestly, would've been even worse than the 60 roll so probably better he missed 2nd. He proceeded to do a ricer flyby all the way into 4th gear and turn around the next opportunity he had. Sounded good tho.

I agree. Idk how/why but I've had some unforeseen and not easily believable outcomes.

It's just an Accord! Lol. That's what I'm saying, it's just a quick lil 3.0 V6. Idk how I get the outcomes that I do

LOL!! You sound like my son when he calls me to tell me 'I ran a so and so' and beat it. (It's all good, so long as you keep it safe....relatively so anyway.)

Nice kill on the S5. I'm not certain what gives there though.

I like posting up my races on the street just to share them no matter how outlandish they may seem lol. I wouldn't lie about a race I had on the street or the track. Actually, if the M5 in P400 has ~330whp and weighs 4,000lbs, the S5 sort of makes sense since it weighs 3800 and has 354hp at the crank, probably 300whp.

If there would've been a better driver in the Audi, I'm sure the S5 would've won. Driver makes a big difference.

Dude I beat a Crystler 300c or whatever they are, I thought 100% I would lose because I had a 24pk of water in he trunk and mostly full tank, but no by 4th I was a half a car ahead. I know on paper he should spank my RSX but on the streets this is what happens.

So good kills bro, keep it up I'm falling in love with the AV6, I wouldn't mind having a heated seat, nice leather car with mean punch to it, yummy =).

lol a 24pack of water doesn't weigh much man.

But to the OP, nice kills. Maybe it's cause you stepped on it before the S5, or it could just be the driver.

Lol, agreed.

Yea I don't think he was the best driver. It does make sense tho considering they weigh in at 3800lbs, while I'm 3200 with a full tank, maybe 3250 (I had 1/2 tank). 350hp turns into about 300whp when you take into account RWD drivetrain loss. Whatever it was, the S5 is a sexy F'in car.

Sounds like you're just a superior driver who knows his car well. I've seen your drag videos, and you are pretty quick. And compared to a guy in a Tiburon who does a burnout and misses second?

That SRT8 though, I'd expect to completely walk you. Yes, it's heavy and has an automatic, but there's no arguing with 425 horsepower. Well I guess there is, now.

S5 seems like a case of both a mediocre driver and a heavy car.

Nice kills nonetheless

LOL I don't blame you! When are we goin at it?

And yea AMANI I thought the SRT would walk on me too. He did walk on me at the beginning of 3rd, he pulled from being on my bumper to 1 car ahead. He pulled quick too, between 60-75 he did that. Then I stopped his pull mid 3rd and into 4th he stayed at 1 car ahead. The S5 may not have even been a bad driver Edmunds got 13.2 @104. If from a dig he would've got me but I should be trapping 104, and the gearing of the S5 is similar to ours.

Lol. Well, I got a slight jump at the light and was ahead until 3rd gear. My blood was rushing like crazy at this point, adrenaline to the max, especially since I was ahead! Then as I hit 3rd he pulled from being on my rear bumper to 1 car ahead within the time I hit 3rd to about 75ish, and that's how it stayed til the bottom of 4th.

Now after custom Jpipe, 3" catback, UR pulley, and a tune.... by the summer

And AMAN those vids of me at the track are ehh shifting. If you wanna see me be a shifter look at my old Accord 4cyl vid on youtube

You've been to the strip so you fully understand that most people can't race for crap. If you were in the S5 and a good driver was in your car, you'd most likely walk your Accord. However, the S5 isn't a super blazing fast ride. It does 13.4ish@104mph and that's with a clutch punishing AWD launch. Put an average driver in the S5 and it's going to go lower 14s, maybe.

Damn! That's basically what I was gonna' post. I wish I could rep the TL like he reps the AV6. Just a Q for you though Sonnick, why are you getting a 3" exhaust? Are you going F.I.? I thought 2.5" was the best size piping for N/A set-ups..?
