Am I Getting Screwed By Dealership?

Am I Getting Screwed By Dealership?
I'm in the process of buying an '06 TL with A-Spec package. They hope to have it ready by Saturday. I asked them if they can install the Comptech rear sway bar. They can, but... They give me a parts price of $110 + $25 shipping. That seems fine. Then they say the total cost will be approximately $240 since install will cost around $105. Does that sound right?
From what I've read here, install should take 15 to 30 minutes. If that is accurate, then their labor cost must be $210+ per hour?? That seems ridiculous. I would expect about $75 per hour for labor.
I'm also wondering if they install a different Acura rear sway bar as part of the A-Spec package. If so, then the labor cost for installing the Comptech rear sway bar should be $0, right, since they'd be taking the time to install a different rear sway bar anyway?
Can anyone give me some advice on this?
Thanks!
Ben

The dealership I go to charge labour per hour, not per minutes. So it's probably $105 per hour.
Also I don't think there is a different sway bar with the A-spec kit. As for as I know, there are only two bars, one for automatic, and one for the manual.

$105 for install is ridiulous! but then again it is a dealership...
this is not a hard mod that you could DIY. If not take it to any independant shop, they'll do it for a fraction of the cost.
here are some discussions:

I just went through the same thing with my dealer . They are supposidly one of the only Acura dealers that is an authorized Comptech dealer in Canada. In all honesty, it was easier to buy the RSB through them so I did it even though I know I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere - as I am sure you can as well.
They claimed the Acura service manual states 1.3 hours for a re and re of a RBS. I complined, they told me to come in and they'd take care of me. They did it and still charged me the 1.3 - no adjustment. All I can say to them is as far as my car coming there for service goes .
I paid the extra $$$ so there could be NO hastle with my warranty as they supplied the part and did the install. Seems like in my case they are a bunch of dick's with no people skills so the extra $100 or so for me was insurance against future hastle. So while you can get it and have it installed cheaper elsewhere I chose to pay more for piece of mind down the road - the choice is yours.

Good assessment! Dealers and most shops use a " Flat Rate Manual". That is one way to determine their cost plus a reasonable profit. It keeps the employees working at at least a reasonable rate and lets then quote about how long it should take an average defective. another situation where you get to choose your poison. Think I'd go to an independent.
