Am I bummed or what?
6 weeks after getting my new TL (Why did it have to be my new car?!) I was driving home from an Angels Baseball game at midnight (they won!) on a deserted stretch of Highway 101 at about 75 MPH, family asleep, enjoying XM and boom! Some sort of animal (probably a moderate sized dog or coyote) appeared out of nowhere and I plowed right into it :smackhead breaking the bumper and front spoiler and passenger side headlight with some possible damage in the right front fender alignment as well. I didn't stop on the freeway but I'm sure whatever I hit is history. There was some sort of animal dung on my grill. It ruined my whole weekend. The car doesn't pull or drift so I am hoping that there is no frame damage. I guess I'm lucky that no one was hurt. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Off to the bodyshop…

Hal, you're funny.... you should only need to clean the big body like deer, right?
I always worry to hit the big animal like the deer... but hitting the smaller one doesn't make life any better...

My wife hit a Pig the other day. I hate the redneck south, but it was her friends car 78 buick or something she was driving out to the airfield to drop it off for him. She got out of the car the damn thing started snarling looked at her charged about 5 ft and then went running into the woods.

A friend mine who is an attorney said that if it was a domestic animal, the owner is responsible for letting his animal get loose and is liable for the damage my vehicle sustained.

If it really stinks like hell, then it's a carnivore. If you can stand the smell and don't mind leaving it on the car, then it was probably a herbivore.
