what do mean? you do need to eloborate...turn to sh*t does not explain anything....best option is to have all season mats...

Here's what I did. I went to my local auto parts store and picked up some heavy duty clear mats. Got home pulled out the oem and traced it on the new clear mats and made the cuts. After I was done...I just put the oem ones back in and the new clear mat on top. Works like a charm

Question Mats large enough to cover the stock ones ?

Did your clear mats completely cover the stock mats ? I can't seem to find anything wide enough. What brand and model are they ?

I doubt they are showing much wear after 15K. Rather I'm gussing they are just filthy and har to clean. Do what I did: Spray them with a good foaming carpet cleaner then blast them with a power washer. Last week it did my first major cleaning after the winter. My light grey mats look like new.

Buy the genuine TL ALL Season mats. I did and my OE mats still look brand new. Granted i'm a little particular about keeping the car clean though. The all season mats fit right on top of the OE mats. Just pull the all season mats out from time to time to clean them and to vacuum under the all season mats.

wearing heels does a great deal of damage to the mats, i was started to get holes after only a couple thousand miles... i got the oem rubber mats and i leave them in all the time...

Lloyds mats

I bought Lloyds clear mats for my car. Fits exactly over the floor mats for front and back. Got them from www.drivewerks.com.

Exactmats

I got a set of pre-cut clear mats from:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33697

They are nice and they even give you clips so you can clip it to your OEM mats.
I'm happy with them.

I don't recall which brand they where. I do know for sure that I got them from my local Autozone.

My mats are crap too, but mostly just because they're dirty and the camel color is impossible to keep clean anyway. Road Rage has some very nice aftermarket berber mats in his TL. They're in a darker complimenting color and don't show dirt at all. Maybe he'll post and share where he gets them.
