I like the stock rectangular tips.

The dual round tips will seem crowded in the rectagle cutouts of the bumper.

I was thinking of going this route as well -- especially since I have the bodykit and the stock tips don't even come flush w/ the bodykit rear spoiler. However, after inspecting the mufflers... i realized that I'd have to have a bodyshop saw off the stock tips, and weld on the new ones. Plus, the amount of $$ I'd have to spend on the right sized tips, w/ the quality I wanted, plus the labor... too much for something that really didn't bug me too much.

I am debating the Comptech exhaust as well, but the tips don't bother me as much as they do others on this forum. Unless it is a relatively cheap mod to switch & weld tips, I don't think I would do it.

Maybe cvajs can provide some details on how much he would estimate them to cost. He posted a while back, on sawing & rewelding new tips for Comptechs.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) the curved, trapezoidal-shaped cutout in the rear valance precludes any other choice of tip if you want the nice, form-fitting look.

The dual tips you've shown will probably look pretty odd since the split section will have to be completely external from the cotout. Good luck.

trapezoidal stainless tubing cut on a angle, then small plate TIG'd to the back, then 2.25" round hole made and then a round nub of tube (round tube that can be welded to stainless or steel, basically a steel with low nickel content), then the whole thing TIG's onto muffler.

new tips other than oem shape would require the body part to be re-done to match the shape of those round tips.

why not stay oem ??

I have no problem w/ the OEM shape .. it's just that the depth is too much w/ the OEM bodykit... I really wish the exhaust tips were bolt-on like the prevous generation -- it would make trials of different tips a helluva lot easier.
