thanks to "Doc's TL-s" i was given a few flyers at the "mod" meet a little while ago... i made a bunch of copies and always keep about 5 in my glove box because im always driving around all day every day.... ive probably left about 10 on some parked TL's ive seen in parking lots that i think are "worthy" of receiving the flyer hahah, anyways, just wanted to share it with all yall, i think if everybody kept one or two in their glove box and put them on any acura that you saw that looked like they needed to know about the site, acurazine would expand like crazy... heres the scanned image of the flyer....

 

imho there is too many words for an advertisement the you throw on peoples car... maybe at a booth or something but not a flyer that you put on peoples cars

I agree. Needs some pictures to be more appealing and draws them in to actually check the site out. Just my

 

I like the idea of the flyer... but it needs to be short..sweet. and to the point.. If I saw this.. I probably would just toss it unless "Acura" actually caught my eye.. I usually just throw flyers into the air when they are stuck on my winshield without even reading a word

 

very good idea, but as others said, it's too busy and cluttered. most ppl would just toss it. good work though.

 

I'm sorry to be an ass, but at least make the flyer grammatically correct. Do not use slang when promoting AcuraZine. Steer away from writing as you would speak.

A few nice pictures, with a few conveying phrases, and you are in.



PS Encourage curiosity with AcuraZine .com as a thirst quencher.

 

i def agree with tekno king.... but if your bored and reading this thread, make somethin real fast and post it up so we can get more members to do this, its an awesome idea i think everyone should post up any ideas they can think of and throw up on a word document or anything...

 

Make one that's plain and simple. If I saw that on my car I'd crumple it and throw it away thinking it's some kind of donation request or an ad to buy something.

Just do something like:

And do it on some catchy orange paper.

 

Would anyone who leaves an invitation on a car leave their username on the flyer?

i.e., on the flyer it could state: "Your car was noticed and admired by Acurazine member RKSOKOL"

Thoughts?

 

This is from the 4runner forum. We could do this with an Acura and the site name.

Could say on back "You've been invited to Acura's #1 online community by ____"

I personally think its a bad idea. Leaving flyers on someones car is pretty much saying "here you throw this away"

Not really because I would think that people only put this on TLs of people who have an at least somewhat modded TL. If everybody puts it on a stock TL then yea you can say it is like that, but its not like somebody would go and put it under everybodys windshield like a commercial flyer or anything like that. I think its a good idea, somebody should use their photoshop skills and make a nice flyer

 

so far i've only seen one stock KBP TL-S at my university and everytime i walk by i wanted to leave a flyer but im always like eh ill see the driver SOMEDAY and rather tell him in person

the somewhat/lightly modded ones will be interested for more mods for sure.

 

the best flyers are the most simple.

if you had one that just said "acurazine.com" and empty space around it, i would look at it and be like, "what the hell is this?" and i'd actually look it up. you've got the split second it takes for me to get to my driver's side door to get my attention. if it takes longer then that, the flyer hits the floor even before i get to my car.

 

Oh and there should be a nice pic of a nicely modded TL on there so they know whats on AZ
