Hey all, i may be going nuts but wanted to ask - I got a 07 tl-s and picked color white..... although had a choice of silver, black and red. now i am going crazy thinking that i should have gotten silver and white looks almost gay ........ any comments? color preferences?

if you tint this like 20-25% then wdp is the best color imo. it looks badazz with dark tint cus there is no chrome trim around the windows, it is all black for that extra darth vader look. add wheels and a drop with the tint and it is the best color combination.

i really dislike light silver colors in general. there is the least amount of contrast with the wheels. i think the dark silver is good though. uhh why did u post this in the picture forum?

I did 15% tint - looked good to me, but all my buddies are like - why didn't you get the silver. I'll post some pics later - that's why its here..... wanted to see what other people thought of the color variations.... thanx for the response. this has been eating me for almost a week now...

My three choices when i got my tl-s were nbp, wdp and kbp. Even though i thought kbp was the nicest color i ruled it out cuz i think id most likely get sick of it on MY car after a while. i was leaning towards wdp but then my gf said that color is for girls and id look gay in it. i couldnt get that outta my head so i went with nbp and i love it. WDP is an awesome color though, you boyz r just jealous cuz they dont have one.

WDP looks HOT, dont worry about a thing... A lot of people do this White/Black theme and it looks amazing. You car will look even hotter cuz it has the type-s dark rims.

do u trust your buddies who probably don't know anything about this car or dudes that hang out on the biggest acura forum online who actually own and drive these cars? don't worry about it, you made the right choice. run a search or just hang out on the forums to get good ideas of mods and how the cars look modded. i wish i tinted my nbp just a tad darker but oh well. post pics!

I see a lot of guys driving the WDP and they have a hot girl next to them so you know they don't have sugar in their tank, enough with this gay BS.

I saw a Accord coupe yesterday in Cool Blue Metallic yesterday (ebony interior). Maybe the 4G TL will get that color, that would be the shit.

Dude, if you're happy w/ it then don't listen to your jelous friends. Like others have said, check out the forum and get some ideas of what others have done with their WDP's.

BTW Check out the future RonJon lip kit for the TL-S, that thing looks like it's gonna be pretty hot.

Another idea on White. Badge it with graphite. Not that hard to do and there should be some threads on this. You will be the only one in town to have it on an s model

If you are referring to a "car bra" I think they take away from the look of our cars. I had one on my 89 Accord ( it came with the car and I just left it on rather than try to clean up what was underneath ). It's your car and if you like them go for it. See if you can find a picture of one on in the photo gallery. I think it takes a while , but yes , I have seen older cars that obviously used to have them on. It also traps dirt underneath them.

It's so funny that you started this. LMAO. That's exactly what a friend at work is going through with the daily jokes from us with his white Civic Hybrid. It really wasn't his fault b/c the dealer only had a white one at the time. Anyway, we never cared to hitch a ride for lunch since we aren't the one that drove.

Very nice kit and only if it were in CBP. BTW, the bumper appears to look darker than the rest of the body or maybe I am just imagining.

WDP is the worst color to match. I don't know how well u know about WDP but this is a 3 stage color. The only way to match WDP entirely is to paint the entire car which is not worth it. The bumpers are plastic. Since this is a 3 stage color, when u spray the paint on plastic and metal, it will show difference somehow.
When I had my rear buper repainted, I was going to repaint the side panels as well. But, if the panels were painted then they might show difference with the doors. That's how you will end up painting the entire car.

Actually RE badge it. Remove the chrome badges "TL", ACURA, etc on the trunk and replace with ones that are graphite in color. Similar to the Lexus black chrome badges. There are pictures on the forum of folks that have done this on WDP and it looks great. Do a search.

Anthracite is the best , imo, especially after a nice car wash!

Honestly, both wdp and nighthawk black look good but it's a pain in the butt to up keep. I was gonna go for silver but I just found silver boring... that's why I went for Anthracite in the end. For some reason I just dig for the metallic look.
