anytime Thorin. yeah I forgot he said that on the first page. I was just wondering why you were questioning the install. It really is super easy. The pedals are cut perfectly. They just fit right over the existing pedals. i would say if you are on the fence about getting them I would do it. They add so much to that area down there. I never used to look down there but now everytime I get in I always take a glance at them while Im getting in

How high are the rubber inserts? Do you think they'll wear down through age?

From pictures, it reminds me of a bunch of slim jims sticking out of a metal bracket.

yeah they are pretty high. But Im sure over time they will wear down a bit. If the purpose is to keep your feet from slipping, they serve their purpose well.

My worry is they my brake off...

Does that make any sense? If it were smooth, I could gas it faster.
I really havent noticed any effect on my driving. I see where you're coming from on the accelerator, but I honestly havent noticed it. It just has a different feel to it.

As far as the warranty goes, I doubt there will be any issues. I had my worries about the pedals sticking but that was because the hardware was too long. I think you will love these pedals. Im going to let the Dallas members drive the car and have them post their thoughts on here. Maybe some different opinions will help.

Hey Trancemission-

Great write up on the pedals...very detailed and love the pics. I'm in for a set. Just a quick question for you guys...How does the group buy thing work? Do we pay for it now in full or with a deposit? Or do we just add our name to a list and then pay closer to the 21st release date?

I'm in Irvine, CA and was going to do this mod soon.

My only concern is that the rubber inserts stick to far out - for those that have these does it make for an uncomfortable drive...? i'm assuming it would be impossible to drive without shoes on (6MT)

If you take the rubber inserts out, then the screws would stick out even further. So might want to wait for the 2nd batch? unless Supercomputer can have the manufacturer adjust the length of the rubber inserts.

Guys if I find necessary I will swap out the Hardware thats pretty easy. But the Rubber inserts will stay the way they are. You could if you like not use them and just get yourself some smaller screws and bolts and you should still look and install fine.

I thought the rubber inserts are what make them racing pedals..

arent they supposed to keep your feel from slipping off?

Im not sure if the car would even pass an inspection without having some type of grip on them...

I could be wrong though... either way I love them, I really dont see myself driving without any shoes..

^ Yep. I've had pedals with the rubber inserts on my old car (kind of similar to the ones being sold here). It was fine, it felt fine, and it gripped great. I would want to have those inserts on the brake and clutch at least.

This from personal experience.

The pedal war is really heating up . Without seeing Supercomputer's in person it's hard to make a judgement on which one is better. I like his, but I also am very happy with the ones I got and wouldn't even consider trading them in.

I guess you could always swap them out on occasion. Like rearranging furniture or maybe which pedals go best with your shoes. Hahaha. They're both nice.

Agreed completely! No disrespect intended whatsoever Supercomputers. I know you have a lot of development in these and can highly appreciate this completely....and it definately shows with the A+ quality product you are offering! Nuff said.

Before you make a snap decision based off that thread, look a little harder. www.ultimatepedals.com can do all kinds of custom pedals for you. You have lots of options there with regards to size, finish, custom engraving...

I like the supercomputers pedals too, but I could actually do without all the acura symbols all over everything. I know it's an acura, I don't need it branded on every aftermarket item I buy.
