Acura TL Gold Emblems
I have ordered a 05 TL SSM. I was wondering if anyone has the same exterior color (silver) with the gold emblems, front and rear. I see so few TLs that I have been unable to get a sense of the appearance of gold emblems on a silver car. Any ideas about this idea?

Depends on the tastes of the person... I can almost promise you that you're gonna get a bunch of people telling you that you're pimping out your car and not to do it.
My mom has them on a dark green Infiniti and I thought it looked decent. That being said, I'm not putting any gold anywhere near my SSM TL.

Gold=Bad Taste...people with gold emblems are the same that wear big gold chains or have gold teeth or live in a retirement home in Florida.

I'd have to agree with everyone else.....
Gold on any car these days is cheesy. Usually it's white cars that have gold, and yours is silver so.....
My suggestion to personalize your car in a similar way would be to put what they call Black Pearl emblems on your car. You can look at these emblems on this website.

The one's shown of are Lexus emblems.....the pictures don't do them justice because they're a little more shiny in real life. Look good on silver.

GOLD - Just a TOUCH of gold looks great on certain colors. To have just the Acura emblems gold with the rest removed, for instance, can look very classy. It look very nice on the WDP, for example, where chrome seems to clash with the off-white color. I get compliments on this all the time.
For silver - Gold would not go at all. I would definitely use the "black chrome" after de-badging.
