something keeps bringing me back to this site...
i traded the tl for a beemer z4 a few weeks ago, but have been on this site everyday since then and have not even joined a bmw forum yet. thanks everyone for the good reads and invaluable tips i found here...
now to the topic at hand, that is definitely a scam. no doubt about it. but i was wondering if anyone ever read the story where a scammee scammed the scammer by selling him a p-p-p-powerbook?
i couldn't find the link to the website i originally viewed, but i do have a link to a 28 page pdf document outlining the whole thing (pictures and all).

it's a lot of reading, but i thought well worth the while and got quite a few laughs. here are a few images of the item to peak your interest.

Note...ebay does not handle money nor do they have a shipping dept. whatsoever. SCAM. Obvious. Dont fall for this...had a buddy selling a carbon fiber buell lightening and got taken to the tune of $5000 before it was done. Source ended up being Nigeria. It was about this type of thing in reverse order. They sent a cashiers check....they sent money to a "freight handler" to come get bike.....bye bye money. Ended up money was sent to a wesetern union in Texas and forwarded out of the country and history. Fortunately he still had his bike or the loss would have been double as he would not release the bike to the unsuspecting freight guy who showed up to pick it up. He was just contracted to pick up, crate, and ship. That guy prob would have never been paid either....but who knows...

I would NOT 'turst' this guy!
