Acura Specialists in Los Angeles

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for Acura shops in the West San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, CA.

Also, if anyone has comments on the service departments of Keyes Acura and
101 West Acura in Calabasas, I'd like to hear your stories.

I'm looking to get the sway bar installed on my new 6MT TL and would like to start up a good relationship with a mechanic from the start.

Thanks.

I bought my TL at Keyes Van Nuys, their sales department is very professional, I heard they sell the most cars in the area... more than likely work in more cars and chances are they are more experienced....

I hope it helps :-)

I have used Acura 101, Keyes and Valencia Acura for the service of my cars. Overall for customer service and pleasantries, Valencia is the way to go. My friend had some issues with his car after lowering and some other mods, and Keyes decided that they no longer wanted to help him with a warranty claim. Valencia was very helpful for him, and their waiting area is really nice (free manicures, massages, and shoe shines from 9-noon various days of the week). Keyes, is ok, but I liked their old staff more that their current. They used to have some guys that were there for a while, but now the turn over is really high. Acura 101 was nothing special.

Basically, I understand that you want to build a relationship, but these service consultants seem to come and go so much, that it almost isn't worth the effort. Valencia is going to be the most likely to take good care of you, but it is a little bit of a drive.

For things like a sway bar install, I would just go to a local aftermarket shop. A friend of mine owns a place called OHC in Northridge, and he will put your sway bar in for like $40 or less. PM me if you want his contact info.

There is a place called Honcura in Glendale. I've been going to this shop for 6 years now. All Honda parts, but half the price. He charged $40 for sway install.
