Quicker and way quieter (damn chrysler sounds like I'm in a tank) nimbler and smoother. Braking is about the same. Unfortunately I bought out the lease on the 300M and it is now my wifes vehicle and I sometimes need to drive it as it holds way more cargo than a TL. I can't stand it anymore. It's horrible, no comparisson to the TL. Never should have bought it.
Remember...the only thing american about the GTO is the name. It is built in Austrailia.

Ahh, i can't stand people like that. People like tat want me to go into my savings, find my old prelude on some used car lot, drop 12 grand into that sucker and give those gto nuts a taste of real speed. Anyway, you made the right decision, the TL is a wonderful car, and don't worry, one day, those GTO drivers will all meet "riced out civics" with engine swaps and 20+Psi turbos, and they'll get theirs. I've seen it happen!

I was referring to his thought of the GTO being an american car, douchebag. Maybe you should have read the post in detail.
I know the TL is built in OHIO, I was at the plant & saw them going down the assembly line.

We'll see who has the last laugh when 10-15 years from now the GTO is rusting in a junkyard while my TL is still happily plugging along.....
I remember the days when the GTO was actually a real muscle car, not the little downsized wanna be it is today.....The good ole days.....gas @25 cents a gallon, 350HP V8's, american muscle meant something back then.
