Acura to Honda Part No X-Ref

I've done some looking here on Azine and didn't find a definite or good post. So here is my question - Has anyone found or does anyone have a good site to cross-reference Acura part numbers to Honda part numbers?

Specifically in this instance, I am going to be replacing thenrearnrotors and pads on my TL-S and wanted to see if there are Honda part numbers. I have a couple of good sites for Lexus to Toyota but not Acura to Honda. Anyone? TIA.

Easiest site is probably Bernardi Parts. Just enter the same part number into each site and see what is available and buy the cheaper one if the part number is common. For fluids, many times the Acura branded equivalent has an A on the end of the part number.

Honda

Acura

Thanks EE, I will give that a try. I was hoping there would be a good X-Ref site like the one I found for Lexus / Toyota.

Unfortunately that didn't work. So not sure if the rotors (42510-SEP-A00) and pads (43022-SEP-C01) on the TL-S are in fact unique or it simply didn't work for me.

How about trying the same idea using aftermarket parts? I wouldn't buy OEM Honda rotors, they aren't anything special and cost more. The first time I did the rear brakes on my TL I went with all OEM parts (Honda Boxes). This time (after frozen OEM calipers destroyed rotors), I went with centric rotors with E-coating, centric pads and NAPA premium calipers with E coating. It's been a year and everything looks and works as good as new. Rotors were $32ea, pads were $23, calipers were in the $80ea range. Did the whole thing for under $250 as I recall. Also have the centric rotors up front with the brembo calipers.

Yeah, those rear brake disc and rear brake pad set part numbers are unique to Acura. The Brembo front brakes are too, and are also unique to the Type-S and some other 3G model year TLs, I believe.

There are many common Honda/Acura parts though (for example, the 4G TL and Honda Ridgeline share front and rear brake pad sets).

Believe it or not a little further research is showing me the rear rotors are the same as the ones on the Honda Element. The pads so far are still showing as being unique. I haven't purchased anything yet.

I mean if you want to stick with OE than find the Acura part number and then google search it. It will list Honda pages before Acura if it's a Honda part too.

However, like mentioned, with brakes you're better off buying fantastic aftermarket parts for a fraction of the cost.

Centric rotors, wagner quiet pads. Or step up to performance pads. You're choice. Etc.
