Hey my Acurazine friends. My Acura (A) emblem on my steering wheel is peeling. It has turned yellow. All the chrome has peeled off.

Does any one know if I can buy an emblem to replace it? Instead of buying the whole airbag (said Acura dealership).

Does anyone know which size emblem do I buy?

If you can't replace just the A, I wonder if you can carefully paint it? Take your time, be careful, and get model paint with a small brush and tape everything off and paint it chrome again?

I can't see it worth it to buy the entire airbag.

^^^ i think the A would come off but painting I don't like. Replacing a new A I would do.

Just have to find the right size and use a little of glue..

But is there a certain A emblem I buy?

Acura has all types and sizes of A emblem

I remember seeing another thread in regards to this. I did search and caouldnt find it, but i do believe it said that airbag replacement was only way.

Hope I'm wrong though....

x2 ... i think this is the only way, unless you can find a sticker that is very similar, or go somewhere that makes custom stickers to make one that looks like urs?

IMO, this is a good opportunity to use your imagination and make a custom badge for your steering wheel .

If its still under the 50,000 warranty, they should replace the whole airbag for free. Chrome peeled off and my car only had 40,000 so they replaced the whole airbag for free.

I have the chrome emblem that fell off of my 2000TL's engine cover. IIRC it appears to be the same size, but I would have to double check that when I get home tonight. But you may want to search for that emblem to get sizing info and compare.

found the maker of the oem emblem
and I want to buy one for my tsx bag but they require 20 piece minimum

I'll take 10 for myself because some of my friends need some
so I'm wondering would 10 people on here need them

only thing is they only take bank transfer So I have to wire them money

guessing after all is said, should be about $30 shipped including the rivets to do the job
