Remember this Car is in California.... explains the inflated price.

All those options and having a dealer fix any problem (blown engine) when they come up might be worth the $$$

Funny thing is, the extra bucks have nothing to do with the warranty! Unless this dealer wants to play hard-nose, most dealers sell and install Comptech products without violating the factory warranty. California even has a law concerning non-OEM parts and Factory warranties.

The TL will probably sell because "ignorance" costs money! They will convince someone that this car is worth the price because they will show "MSRP" and not actual pricing. They will probably use the warranty pitch as well and even take a grand or two off, just to "sweeten " the deal. Buyer's happy and so is the dealer!

I got to remind myself to stay away from them for any service as they're pricing seems to also suggest that they are charging higher than the standard going labor rates for the bay area.

A SiQ TL, if you can, try to find out what the TL eventually goes for just for sh*ts and grins, OK?

I have to ask, how does a TL feel to drive with a Comptech supercharger, anyway? How much horsepower does it add? My opinion is that the stock '06 TL does a great job managing all that power in a front wheel drive drivetrain, but I have to think that things would get WAY out of hand if you add an aftermarket supercharger. The steering wheel would rip right out of your hand, wouldn't it?? Seems like this kind of mod is better suited for a RWD car.

Then they should have applied of set of 'Type R' decals instead. I am sure there are a number of 20-something ricers that would pay $50k+ for a 'TL Type R'.

Very interesting some dealers are doing this now. Very cool, but like everyone else stated, too expensive for this particular TL.

At the dealer I bought my car I was asked to sign consent for them to use the pics they took of my car before I took delivery because they were so excited to add the A-Spec options and wanted to show the pictures to potential buyers.

They claimed at the time that they were going to do the same thing and put one on the showroom floor, I haven't stopped back to see if they had actually done it yet.

Someone should show the dealer this ad. It's still an automatic, but no where near the price there asking. For $32,000, It's a major steal.
