Accident - Bumper trashed - Time to Upgrade?
Good morning ACURAZINE!
So, I won't bore you with the details... but small accident is making me get a new front bumper -it's trashed. I will also need to fix the passenger side - front quater panel - no paint damage... should be able to pull it out.
Question - Am I dreaming, thinking I can get a cheaper after-market front bumper? I was under the impression buying an OEM would be more expensive?
If that's the case, I'd rather take this horrible incident and maybe upgrade the body kit!
If you can provide some input or direction, I'd really appreciate it. Doing a search for "body kit" or "front bumper" is not really helping. Too much garbage, and mostly I can't tell where to search for kits and price?
Anywho - I'm in Miami, and I'm talking about a 06 - TL. (dark blue, sorry I forgot the paint code name)
Thanks for reading everyone!

I strongly recommend using a new OEM replacement bumper. I use to paint at body shop, and I've seen quite a few crappy aftermarket bumpers, some re-manufactured OEM. Front bumpers take a lot of abuse. New OEM is easy to prep for paint. OEM is guaranteed to fit and mount properly as well.
Aftermarket is cheaper, but can result in less than OEM fit and finish. For some people it doesn't make a difference, depends on how picky you are.
