The official paint code for Abyss Blue Pearl is B527P, but mine has an X tagged on the end. Neither Acura dealer near me knows what it means, B527PX doesn't even show up in their system.

Guess I'll find out if they're the same because I ordered touch up paint for B527P instead, but I'm just curious why mine is B527PX...

Anyone know?

 

Mine also has the X, but the car I got the passenger rear door from didn’t and the color is perfect match, so go figure...

 

Well the touch up match was pretty close. Not sure if the slight difference is due to the color code, or due to the aged paint. I'm betting it's aged paint. The X is still a mystery, a senior tech at my dealership said it's NOT the factory code, the factory code for my car is A (B527PX-A).
