6spd TL-S = unicorn?

seriously, just need to vent a bit.... ive been chasing a handful of TL-S's in a 300 mile radius and they are selling before i can even get to them. im starting to think they dont even really exist....this search is exhausting to say the least. there is an abundance of autos though.

i hear you...my problem is, i've been keeping tabs on pricing. what sucks is that since i'm across the border up in canada, dealers have been overpricing them by alot, compared to ones i found in the us. good luck in your search man...be patient, one will come around.

When I was looking for a 04 or 05 base, I only found one 6MT in 5 months of daily searching...and that one had a trashed interior and about a grand of body work. I just ended up getting an auto. But I wish I could have found a stick.

Find someone with a dealer license and go to the auction with them. Find one and have them bid on it for you. I almost bought an 07 blue 6 speed TL-s but it went for $20,200.

Yeah man I'm 2 months into my hunt. The selection in Canada is dismal compared to what you guys have in the states. Good luck!

Is there a specific color combination you want? Auto or 6sp?

I was actually very picky. Had to be 6SP and NBP exterior, and two-tone ebony/silver interior would be a huge plus.

Just wait, and make sure you test drive it with someone that is a bit more objective than you so that your emotions on really wanting the car do not compromise you getting an actual GOOD car.

That dark red is a player color.
you're missing out if exclude exterior colors.....

My requirements were 6m/t, navi, and ebony interior.

Hey BBU,

Just be patient, and you'll find what you are looking for. From what I have seen, the used car market is dismal right now.

...A bit off topic...What prices are you seeing out there?

I am getting tired of mine and was looking to part company with her.

I have an '08 S CBP 6mt w/taupe int (which is so much better than the Black and Duct Tape grey )

I am a little ways away from you too...Cleveland, OH

GLuck,
miiipilot

I kept an eye on just the 2 local acura dealers over the course of about a year. They had one or two 6mt's pop up but one was kinda beat and the other had a tan interior which was a no go for me. I stopped looking for a while then with a stroke of luck i happened to be browsing autotrader one day and the local dealer had an SSM 6mt w/ ebony interior. Went and looked at the car - mint condition. Had it in my driveway in about 4 days and I couldn't be happier. Your day will come and you will also be very happy I am sure.

Blu, you might check TL's for sale here on AcuraZine. Go to the "Off Topic" section of the site (in the upper right hand corner of the page) and you'll see it under the Car Parts For Sale. Under that, you'll see Member's Car's for Sale.

If you are a little picky like me, it may take a while to find the one you like. It took me about 4-5 months of looking. Good luck.

The only used TL-S 6-speeds I've ever found in the LA area have been in NBP. I never see one in another color for sale. Weird.

Lol where were you when I was looking to sell my car and had it up for a month with no hits.

Might just need to be willing to take a road trip for the right car.

+1. In my opinion, you can't really beat any of the colors when they're cleaned up right. The "diamond" aspect is spot on. I love my WDP when it's clean. Only slightly less when it's dirty.

There's a red TL-s near me for sale, and it's a sharp color.
