By the way, I have a manual m3 sitting in my garage (from my avatar) with 18k miles and may be looking to sell my acura.. it hasn't had front end damage but I did hit a mean pot hole in nyc that took the wheel off the passenger side axel..It also had driver side damage from a side swipe...everything is fine and doesnt look like it was ever damaged...it has 81k miles...what would that go for now a days?

the 3G's are still holding a $20k price tag for a 6-7 year old car.

while the 4G dropped to $20k in less than 4 years.

But, looks are subjective so whatever.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I have also noticed some 4G's going for late model 3G prices now.
yea i've noticed that, i just don't think those asking prices are justifiable. given an '08 TL-s and a '10 AWD with similar price and less miles i think it makes sense to pick the latter under most circumstances but i also understand that choosing cars can have an emotional aspect.

Not sure, but how much would you want for it?

The dealerships takes off 1k from the cars value after every incident... would 15k be a good price? considering the rarity of the combo, I never beat on it or did any performance mods until this year. Today I drive it for about 8 miles a week since I work in NYC and my girl gets a company car from mercedes so we rack up the miles on her E class.

If you're serious about selling, let me know.

If I could sell mine for $14k right now I would buy your 6MT. Problem is I had it on the market at one point for for 3 months had had 0 serious buyers.

I live in NYC and bought my 6MT in Atlanta this summer. Posted on this forum as a WTB ad. They are few and far between and chances are you'll have to travel.

Was that the one out in Washington or Oregon or something that was listed on eBay for while? I remember seeing that car and thought, dang low miles.

As for my 6MT Type S... I actually looked for two years and then when I had money (and to have the local Acura dealer notify me when a 6MT arrived), I test drove an 5AT Type S just to see if I liked the rest of the car. When I got back from my test drive, there was a freshly returned 6MT from a lease still cooling off in the parking lot. Put $5k down payment after inspecting the car myself and then waited a week until they did the CPO inspection, fluid changes and replaced front brake pads. No regrets.

I'm not sure which one you saw, but mine came from Atlanta GA and I bought it a few months back.

Mine's for sale, (Dallas) but I'm asking a lot! $16,500 89,000 miles. Has new clutch, FW, master and slave clinder, due HFL, timing belt, WP, tensioner, and drive belts just changed <5,000 miles ago. Only flaw is car has salvaged title.

I looked for several months for a TL w/ a MT, Type-S or regular. Carmax was useless, Cars.com and others were okay. Finally found 2 Type-S MTs in Charlotte, NC. I missed on the first one, second one I jumped on and got lucky. Higher mileage than I wanted, but I've got an '03 TL-S with 150k so I wasn't too concerned.

It's a strong car, esp. with the MT.

Here is one I just saw on AutoTrader. 6MT and White. If I saw this a few weeks ago before I bought mine, I'd be all over this.

Guess I got lucky. I just put a 3g TL on my radar a few weeks ago and there were 2 06 MT on Craigslist 30minutes from me. Picked the lower miles/better maintenance history one. I was prepared to travel for one though. I had just flown to Illinois a few months ago to pick up an 85 Mustang GT convertible. It was a fun trip for me and my 5 year old boy.
