6MT tire noise...
6MT tire noise...
These tires are horribly noisy - at least to me... After reading some of the reviews at tirerack.com, this seems to be a common complaint.
Additionally at tirerack, I noticed that snow tractio0n was rated very low. I guess that explains why my VSA came on the other morning when we had the very slightest amount of ice on the roads...
I don't seem to have a vibration issue with them, but I hope there's a general recall of these tires by Acura so I can get new ones...

Since I have read different things, I am not sure what tire comes with the 6MT in the States. Here in Canada, all 6MT's come with summer only Potenza's. If that's the case with your car, then snow traction would suck.

A comment I have heard and noticed on my test drives was that the car is so quiet that the only noise you hear is the tires. That makes a slightly noisy tire objectionable. Some of the members that have changed tires have found some that are much quieter. One I remeber is the Pirelli PZero Nero M and S's. I will not stand for very noisy tires and will change if they get bad.
Heard yesterday that my ride should be in just before Christmas. WOOHOO!!

I got the Potenzas on my car. Have only driven for about 150 miles, but these tires are quiet in my opinion. I must have had some of the noisiest tires on my other cars.
With the radio on, I can not hear any tire noise, any wind noise. This is one quiet car. Now, every once in awhile I hear a squeek or knock, but only for a very short time.
