I've heard no clicking sound on mine. Is it in all gears? or just between some of them.
My problem is notchiness between 1st and 2nd. http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81499

I haven't heard any clicks. Occasionally when the engine is cold, it is a little stiff getting into second, but nothing more than that.

It`s inside the car, and from what I can recall, going from 2nd to 3rd, maybe a little to 4th.
It`s like a notchy sound when the shift is moved in mostly these gears.
Anybody else have it or an answer?

Had my 6MT at the dealer last week for a clicking sound (that I could also feel a little bit) in the clutch pedal. Happened about 1/2 way up on the release in all gears. You could hear it with the car shut off and just working the pedal. First mechanic lubed the clutch assembly. I drove it a block after it was 'fixed' and returned to the dealership. Finally, the lead mechanic got his hands on it and it turned out to be the spring in the clutch pedal area. He adjusted that and lubed it and no more problem. Sad to say, the 'clutch click' and replacing the original Turanza EL-42s took over 6 hours from start to finish, but at least they're fixed. Only issue I have with the car now is the plastic window guides scratching my aftermarket-installed Solargard window tint. Acura won't do anything about it (of course). Installer blames it on the car (and rightly so). Se la vi for now.

Feeling the shifter going from gear to gear and a slight cliking noise is normal , IMO. It is so slight in my car, I hardly notice it. I have heard the term "gating "before for this sound.

Danno, you're right, it was the clutch spring catching on something. Shifter clicking is normal. We (6MT types) all have some 'click-click' as we shift into certain gears.

I have the same problem with my 04 TL 6 SPD. It is difinitely a mechanical issue with the clutch pedal/spring/lubrication. It seems like the "clicking noise" is consistant at about 50% pedal movement. I will look to see if there are any interference with the clutch pedal spring.
