6MT - Clicking in both the clutch and brake pedal
This is to serve as a FYI for potential buyers of a 6MT and a FYI for current 6MT owners...
I recently took my car in to be serviced at the dealership for a clicking noise in both the clutch and brake pedal when engaged in the 6MT. I had a 5AT loaner and there is no clicking at all in the brake pedal. I know they have different front brakes, but I would not think that would make a difference. If the resolution on the brake pedal click is to replace the brake light swtich as someone previously mentioned, then the service departments must not share information with the other Acura shops.
Acura's position currently is that this is 'acceptable' with the design of the car.
If I did my test drive with the radio off, I might have waited a while to see if and when Acura would corrected this issue.
Overall I like the car, but I am extremely disappointed with the lack of concern on the part of Acura corporate and the local service department. I undestand this is a first year production run for this car; however, knowing this - Acura should be a little more helpful in coming up with resolutions rather than better ways of brushing off the consumers.
The moral of this posting is use forums like this one to get up front information before you make a purchase. Unfortunately, some issues make take longer to appear than others.

I've had a couple of Hondas in the past that clicked. A little white grease was all it took to stop it, and it would last probably 20,000 miles before I heard it again. And then... a little more white grease and done.
I know that the switches for the brake lights and cruise control can click, but you can actually hear it? That doesn't seem right.
