6MT Brembo Pedal Pressure Change

For all the 6MT's out there in TL land, has anyone noticed that the Brembo's require more of a push on the pedal to engage after they are broken in? I have about 2500 miles on her now, and am noticing that, when I first got the car the slightest tap would engage the brakes with vice like results, where as now I have to really push the pedal to attain the same stopping power. I bedded them pretty well after first taking delivery, so I am relatively sure that they are working, just that now they require more OOMPH to engage!?

Any recommendations, or is this normal?

Perhaps the change is due to the Brake Assist feature learning your habits.

You're not dreaming ! I've been experiencing the same thing.

Furthermore, I'm experienceing the pulsation of the ABS kicking in frequently in mild braking situations.

Dealer says its normal..........

What doesn't the dealer say is "normal" when problems are reported?

WOW! Sorry to hear that you are having these issues. I have not experienced the pulsating from the ABS as of yet, just that the pedal pressure needs to be increased. Did you notice one before the other (i.e. should I be on the lookout for the ABS issue) or did they both occur at the same time?

In regards to dealership service personel that say these issues are normal, all I can say is that this is what Acura gets for hiring kids that have no accountability.

They claim they test drove the car and found nothing wrong.
