After searching...most people seem to put in 3 quarts.

3 quarts x 3 = 9 quarts

I would stick with the Honda fluid.

There are numerous threads on this but check the color on the dip stick and if it looks pink and clear you may only want to do one drain and fill. That refreshes whats in there and then keep an eye on it for color change. Its a bigger job than it looks and as "Pure" says should be done times 3.

You can get by with the one drain and the 3 quart refill, but you will be much safer and feel more protected if you do the triple drain and 3 quart refill each time.

You must drive the car on the road for at least 5 minutes after each drain to thoroughly circulate and integrate the fluids. Some people have said they just let it idle for a few minutes to save the extra work of taking it off the stands or the ramp, but when the dealer does it he drives it between fills. At least mine did.

Drain and fill once with either Honda ATF or Amsoil ATF. Color and Odor are irrelevant...

If you do a second service, wait until the next oil change, to allow the fluid some time to "clean."
