3rd Gen Mugen TL

checked out Mugen's site, after seeing the SEMA pics, sure enough, Mugen has aftermarket parts for the TL coming soon. Only thing I like is the grill...

Not crazy about the wheels. At least now we have an option to have fogs where they belong. Nice find.

Everyone should recognize that ラジエター is an aero-drag efficiency, it will not "add" any HP .. (although it may reduce some lost at the front wheels).

I LIKE the exhaust. That may be a mod that can add HP's.

That TL needs 3 things:

1.) A bit more of a drop
2.) Different rims (they do not match well to the TL style).
3.) LOOSING THAT HORRID SPOILER!

But, thankfully companies like Comptech and Mugen want to produce stuff for the 3rd gen TL. Guess they see we have a good community and that there is some money to be made off us!! A defininte.......

The wheels make the TL look like a Cady CTS to me. Not very Acura like. Even though the TL is built in Amercia I think it should still have a import look. I, however like the CTS (V) ever since I saw it racing in the Grand AM Cup @ Barber Motorsports Park a few weeks ago. It took flew past several 911 GTS cars to finish second.

Thanks, noob for letting us know on which SADE we could find the English version.

BTW, I thought that car looked great, especially with the lights in the lower bumper. Also, I cannot believe you did not say you would hit it.

You must not be feeling well today.

except for the grill .. whole car looks cheap/cheesey now ..... kinda like pontiac ( which is a nice car) but just hate the styling ... super cheesey wing .. . I guess they forgot the carbon fiber hood off ebay .. to complete the package

Eventhough I have the factory kit, I wouldn't really say that factory > Mugen. They both have their own unique qualities that set them apart. This Mugen kit gives it that even more sportier athletic look with a little softness. The factory kit is alittle more edgier and aggressive. I like them both. If I were to pick one over the other, it would be the factory with the Mugen grill. I do like the Mugen wing compared to the factory wing but I still prefer the lid spoiler. I kinda like the Mugen exhaust too. Only thing that prevents me from choosing the Mugen kit outright is that it looks a little happy, as in kinda looks like it's smiling whereas the stock air scoops are straight and rectangular looking like it's mad. I think if they had not made it curve up in the ends it would be perfect. Anyway, I hope they sell that grill separately as the grill is the one part of the car that I'm not too keen on. I like the previous TL's grill much better.

i think its the color of the car that kills the body kit.. maybe if it was on an anthracite or white TL it would give it that more aggressive look.. IMO

It looks like the exhaust might not fit/look right without the Mugen bodykit. It looks like a double, not a single.

It is nice to have another choice besides the Comptech though.
