3rd Gen Minor Tint Fix

I am not concerned about the few scratches I have on my windows becuase you cannot see them from outside the car, however there is one that does come through from the outside, it is white in texture. Can I take a felt black marker and lightly draw over this? Anyone do this before?

take it back to who tinted it for you. you might want to consider getting moleskin (after the tint is repaired)

Actually, noting all of the tint scratching issues of the 3GTL I used a Sharpie and colored in all of my windows.. It took a couple of "coats" to get it as dark as I like, but it looks pimp .. ... and no scratches!

I liked it so much I did the windshield too !!!! And I'm happy to report that the airbags worked just fine.

After smelling those vapors from the first windows no wonder you did the windshield!

I'm gonna try the red sharpie...it will look like predator's vision!

Using a Sharpie sounds like a long process...couldn't I just spray paint 'em? Of course I would tape/mask the interior before painting...

It is just a little section that needs to be blacked out, the rest of the window is fine.. May be ghetto but it seemed like a quick easy fix.
