3G TL-S Fog Light housing

I noticed there is a metal piece/bracket inside the 3G Type-S Fog Light housing. Is there a way to remove that without compromising the entire fog light (if that's even possible?) I noticed it blocks a substantial portion of the bulb, and I'm sure without it the fogs would be much brighter.

That's the glare shield.

There are ways of removing it if you want to, but it's not worth the effort.

It's also not considerate to other drivers.

Try this, reach inside with ur finger and bend it sideways because that's what i did when i bought LED foglights and the bulb wouldn't fit properly, its fairly easy to bend too.
