And if you talk to em long enough...they will say they are imported and make you think they are coming from overseas. They in fact are not. They are coming from across the boarder...Mexico.

interesting that its not listed on their site. did you get them to make it for you, or did they produce them at some point and stop?

I heard that they dropped it from their site due to lack of demand...but know knows? You might try calling.

Carbon Fiber Warrantee? Sure...that'll happen! Most people misuse carbon fiber products....therefore most of em come with the most limited warrantee you would believe and still call a warrantee. Basically...rule of thumb....once its out of the box and on your car....its yours. Unless there is some major defect that appears within the first week or so.....they are likely to deny the warrantee on it.

Mike,

I know that you have a good knowledge and experience with cf. Is there anyway you can see if the company that made yours will produce another batch? Unless you would like to produce some custom cf hoods for the tl yourself. =)

We did them here in Indianapolis....so its not hard to find out as I kinda own the company still.....BUT....right now we are doing contract private label parts. I am trying to find time to work another run of these in the production schedule as we have some smaller peices of CF left from another job run that would work out just great....but finding available production time right now is NOT an easy task.

Hoods....as I said....I should have three of em ready to go in the not too distant future.

Please, let me know. If anything, I would love to call dibs on one of them.

Now, the three that are being made soon, are these the same as yours? If not, how rigid are these hoods and how do they stand up in comparison to a "quality cf hood" described by you earlier in this thread?

Thanks, looking forward to it!

I have a CF hood from VIS for my Accord, and it's been perfect the year that I have had it on my car. No problems whatsoever. Fits perfect, no defects with the finish at all. I love that thing!

Now only if I could find a relatively nice trunk for my Accord!

See, now you rag on me so much about my tow hook you should give me one of those hoods a 20% off just for how mean you've been to me.
