I'm guessing that's in TLX land.

No. Fucking car talk. A guy posts a list of luxury cars... e55, ISF, CTS-V, some Bimmmers, amongst some other more practical cars and has a budget of 16k and wants to buy a car that "won't depreciate much" and that's all he's concerned about. Bruh.... have you even considered what it costs to repair a 8-14 year old car with likely a shit ton of miles, like that? Depreciation should be the least of his fuckin worries. But apparently I'm the bad guy for pointing that out because I didn't sugar coat the answer.
Ugh. I'm stopping. I know I can't win.

So mods say "don't talk like that in TLX land. Take it somewhere else". Now they say "don't talk like that in car talk, take it to ramblings". What's next?

No they ain't. I think the mods are pretty fair 99.9% of the time. Hell, my ban was more than justified.

I didn't find anything wrong in that thread. Most were pretty honest. You can get a sporty ride for that much, just don't brand whore. Shit I'd get an old truck with a LSx. It'll never depreciate and balls fun.

Taking notes?
Maybe rolling spliffs? :tokingsmilie:
But probably best not to use blotter paper when going the syrup route.

Okay well, the turkey is pretty much cooked and final dee vorce hearing is set for a week from now, house is under contract...
Life is crazy...that's all I can say. Never in a million years would I have believed what's transpired over the last 3 or 4 months.
I'm not angry at B anymore...we always were and will be friends...she needed to find her own path and she was smart enough to realize we
were not compatible and would always just "exist" together and be "fine". We met on the internet and I now feel like there's an inherent problem
with trusting a computer to make the determination on the initial magic of chemistry FOR you. We were always cool, friends, funny...loved to drink
together and chill...but we had nothing else in common...I didn't care that she loved football, she didn't care that I spoke French. I stomached going to
every home game of football but cringed when the game would start and tailgating was done. She hated biking, camping, rollerblading, kayaking, Switzerland,
the outdoors in general.
We both deserve better and I applaud her for having the gumption to make it happen, even if I didn't agree with how she went about it. We're amicable and split everything down the middle,
including the baby and house equity. We have a life long bond because of the baby and also a strong motivation to continually get along
and communicate for the same reason.

Congratulations, I guess?
I like that you have a positive attitude and outlook about it all. But I guess I'd expect nothing other.
But bigger question... Did you tell her about us?

Thanks, Joe...
as you know from the details, it wasn't my choice and some things were left out of my control in reference to trying to save a marriage and keep the family together for Z.
Yes, she knows about y'all.

I need to buy a socket set and I found this set for $140: https://www.citrustools.com/product-...f.htm?CartID=1
Then I found this for only $35 more: https://www.citrustools.com/product-...3.htm?CartID=4
Am I missing something here or is the first one a total ripoff compared to the second deal? The only thing I noticed the first one includes that the other one doesn't is the 120XP 1/4 ratchet which I already own anyway.

If I were to do it again.. I'd buy solid 1/2 and 3/8 socket sets individually
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
Definitely a good 1/2 impact set as well.. that's been invaluable to me.
