I heard he was good with those
For sure.

I wasn't mostly not prepared for shit to go down. Seemed like a simple "wrong" installation because the factory radio uses an amp for the front speakers in the doors but straight from the HU for back and tweeters and one of the connectors was not connected to the aftermarket HU that got installed by the previous owner. Asked my father to order the missing connector, brought 12v to 5v for amp on using LM7805 (because amp uses 5v, otherwise you hear a loud pop when it turns on) wired everything and.... nothing.
Had me scratchin my noggin for most of yesterday night, and still not solved. Forgot to check 1 fuse though so maybe that, but otherwise it's possible amp is dead too, which sucks if that's the case.

Joe...awesome news.

Last night:
J: Nonchalantly mention 'hey, there's a 6MT Vagon in the color I love...and not overpriced'
B: You were looking again?
J: No, someone...SOMEONE posted a link in Acurazine that I stumbled on.
B: So, yes you were looking...
Silence...Silence...
J: Yeah but this is a great combo and the one I want...if I sell both...
B: Cuts me off to say 'I'm going to bed'

I swear, I should get an Ashley Madison account...it'll go over easier.
J, having gone through this, seriously. Take my advice here.. don't bring it up unless you're serious / set. I know your fucking mind is wandering and you're half in half out.. well don't let your thoughts wander out your mouth.

It's just going to continue to annoy B to the point that she will despise yo ass for even pointing one out on the street. If you're serious, then you need to have a serious talk with her, but not a mention of it before. Either cold turkey or go drive one and decide if you really want it that bad. Take the s2k there.. and see if the V fills a void the s2k doesn't.

And B already knows you like talking to men on the internet about your penis. She's accepted that, thus why you married her.

IOW, stop trying to sell her on something if you're not sure yourself. Be 100% in before selling it.

Watch Boiler Room or Wolf of Wall Street then have the talk with her again. You might end up with 2 V's.

Right you are, Joe. Right you are...
I think that's my problem...I'm thinking out loud and wanting her input and then not getting the response I want (which is fk yes...go for it, best buy ever you need this)...which annoys me.

I am certain I want one...I am not certain I want to give up what I currently own. I don't think I'll miss the TL if I had the V (other than sentimental value). If I drive the S there when it's heatsoaking and I'm sweating my ass off, I might trade it right then and there. LOL...

I'm at a point where she'll get annoyed if I even test drive it...but you're right, I need to start with that. Thanks for the advice.

The dogs know who's boss...

but also still listen to me.

I could easily see ditching the TL and moving up to a V. But the S2000...that's a drivers car... I'm not sure a V could fill that kind of void.

Bruh.. you'll miss the TL.. trust Majofo.

We had a torrential downpour the past two days.. I was out in the V in the middle of the worst of it. Fucking ice skate (read skeet) city bitches! With all my gizmos on.. it was still hilarious. These F1 A/S really do a pretty good job braking and keeping her mostly compliant.

Okay...
that sounds hairy, dude...lol...when I had the cheap, hard shitty tires on the 225 18's all around with the TE on teh silver S2000...rainy day white knuckle drive home with B in the car on I95...that sucked..slippedy sliding in every puddle.

I just ran a big search on cars.com...looks like in that range, there are actually tons of wagons...makes me realize i need to follow your first tip...wait it out...prices will drop. Plus, I'm open to like 4 colors..wagon or sedan , 6mt or automatic...the market will be plentiful in the next 5 years.

Y'all talking about handling in the rain and we here in CA WISH we had rain at all...

Damn J, your troubles with B about the V sound like my convo with my gf about the S.. The plan was supposed to be get my dad a new car when the house is all done.. But I think... Instead of getting him a new(to him) car, why not keep the TL in the family and get an S for myself instead... I've always wanted one and if I get him another car. I couldn't justify keeping on to the TL AND get an S.. Especially since I'm only home 2.75 days a week anyway...

Maj speaks truths (). I always point out an S to her and she has the annoyed/ are you even serious, if not why entertaining the idea.. Now she's promoted to the "what color would you want if you do intend on getting it".

I'm still torn.. Whenever i set my mind on wanting something. I don't think I can give it up.. Especially when all the cards/ducks are in a row, why not right?

TL;dr: :ladiboi: blah blah.... TL .... s2000... Penises...

Good. Happy kid...He LOVES trains and trucks right now. We can sit around his LEGO Duplo trainset forever and he'd be perfectly happy.

His routine...go around the tracks once with everything attached to the locomotive. Then, he wants to add other figures on the train's roof to go along for the ride.

Then, after that, add his mini-Thomas the Train gashapon toy to the bed of one of the train cars. Then, after another go-around, he wants the top taken off of the locomotive. Another go-around.

Then, he wants the cars detached. More go-around.

Then, repeat in reverse.

He's having weekly OT and PT sessions to help him walk. He's still not walking but at least he's mobile by bum-scooting around (as a gag, I've taped a Swiffer to his rear to have him clean the living room floor )...The therapists are optimistic it's just a matter of when...we'll keep at it.

Another allergy test incoming later in October...hopefully he can take eggs, wheat, and dairy...

Almond milk right now. He's also on baby formula to supplement...drinks that 3 times a day.

The little guy is not over 20 lbs but we've accepted the fact that he's going to be smaller for now and he'll grow when he's darn ready.

Here's Little Cha last week at his buddy's birthday party...When I have a bad day at work, I won't lie, I just look at his pictures and I feel better...

Kevin and I will be the best roomates...we'll have a lot of room for activities..since our wives will collectively put out in the yard to live.

truths. He's happy and loved. You can't ask for much more as a kid!

Yeah.. Dads onboard because he doesn't mind the TL (I mean who would...). I would probably save money over a CPO Lexus.. Damn Asian (read:Vietnamese, specifically) parents love Lexus for some reason....

I actually just got my 2 bottles yesterday...in true amazon fashion, I bet price doubles thanks to Johnny and My purchases.

I read it...it says under 16 gallon tank, add an oz per gallon...and to add it to an empty tank right before filling so it mixes with entire tank. I'll give it a go...still have a halfie on both cars right now.

Home made pho is the best! The soup cooked overnight = SUPER flavorful and umami packed broth. Restaurants will rarely put in that amount of love and effort. It's the broth that makes the dish !!

Say goodbye to dreams of V. Soon bye to s2k and TL. You're going to be driving the worst imaginable ride in existence.. which wagon will post subsequent to this.
Sorry, the boss had some work for me...

Either that was a subtle jab at my hoopty or you're looking for the following. I'm not travelling for work nearly as much as I have in the past, however I have one recent rental that has skeeted to the top of my list of worst cars ever. Driving this POS was literally a religious experience. I was praying to the baby Jesus, his mom Mary, the Buddha, Krishna, Vushnu, Mohammed, FSM, and even the Elder Gods each time I tried to accelerate onto the highway.

I present to you, J, YOUR NEW CAR!!!!:

I hate you...
LOL...I drove a Kia Rondo in RI once, it was ugly but not half bad.

Okay and lesson learned...I HATE going into places to shiet where they know whats up...I stick with grocery store or burger king...so I get a turtlehead and I see a Flannigan's...I'm like, sweet, incognito I'll just slip in and out.

Walk in the door...2 very hot hostesses give me their entire spiel with NOBODY else in the waiting area...welcome, come on in, we have meat for you...me, sweaty and wanting to avoid people..."uh...actually, can I ummm...restroom please"...fkkkk...then the normal FB update 10 minute shiet check...bam...walk of shame out the front door but didn't wanna be rude so said thank you goodbye...she gave me the "you better not have smeared it on the walls" stinkeye look.
