Did Moog endlinks when I was putting in the Progress bar because the stock endlinks on Canadian cars usually need to be cut off to even get a new bar on
So I have Tein SAs, Moog Endlinks, Progress bar. Only real important parts to go suspension wise for me are the compliance bearings up front and all new toe arms in the rear so I can actually do a proper alignment. Damn toe bolts seized

Yeah part of me regrets going with the Tein SA because its a little limited in the adjustability department, but I think 16 way dampening is enough for my needs and I like the spring rate of the Teins thus far. Also I'm not sure if the Type S top-hats made any difference, but those are in there as well for what its worth. With the FSB swap and Compliance bearings she'll drive as well if not better than any Type S I think

This is where I realized how lucky I was that I took it to a shop. Considering my whole left front shock fork seized with the stock shock still in there ... fuck Canadian climate

Moog endlinks are available on amazon.ca: (also K90342 is the other one I believe). I got them stateside on ebay though
The Type S top hats actually use a hybrid bushing design, and are apparently a fair bit stiffer than regular TL top hats.

Edit: Haven't looked at the Type-S top hats vs TL top hats, so I was simply asking if they were actually a different design.

Pretty sure they are greasable without removal, if I remember correctly, the shop owner actually mentioned that when we were talking about the endlinks!

Everyone talking about aftermarket coils, I honestly would be happy with just A Spec MT suspension in my car. I did the whole coil set up in my old car and hated the incredibly shitty ride quality . Never again... Progress RSB, Moog Endlinks with stock suspension right now and the car feels damn planted in the rear.. I think my front compliance bushings are shot though... it feels a bit squirrely in the front...
Also got some cuppping of tires a while back.. Usually that's attributed to worn shocks right? I thought it was due to a bad alignment at first but would love your guys' input. Maybe I need to get the ASpec suspension sooner rather than later

The road quality here is one of the main reason I wouldn't run a DD too low. I'll just end up hating feeling every crack in the asphalt.
For the cupping it can be a lot of things.Bearings bushings ball joint shock you name it. Pretty much inspect suspension and direction components and repair what's worn or bent.

I use ramps + jack stands and on cars that are too low to get on the ramps I jack it up, put the ramps under as if they were stands, then jack the other side and put them on actual stands. The only downside to this is the lack of vertical adjustment of ramps, but it's moot point considering you usually want both sides of the car to be at the same height when jacking it completely.

I'm most comfortable on my knees and on my back.
I actually don't mind exhaust work...got fan going under car and listening to toons...take my time...
Back when I had the RSX there was a local girl that had a bf working on her RSX one night late. Came out in the morning and found him dead under the car. That snapped me back to reality to stop taking stupid risks. Can you imagine that feeling...drowning, but your loved one on the other side of the garage door. Fkkkk

Personally I never found that to be super safe with DIYer jack stands (because the base is rarely wide enough), if there's lateral force being applied to the car it would fall of the jack stands and mess up my pretty face. And I'm a chicken shit and don't want that to happen.

I used to do oil changes with the car just on the jack... then my friend told me one of jacks failed on him once and thankfully he had just gotten out from under it a few seconds ago..
Never again trusting any jack on its own, even my Arcan XL35R

But yeah, for me it's ramps on the front + jack stands in the back + jack still in place. If any 1 part fails at least I ain't getting squished like a Go-Gurt.
