The word "repost" is like the bat-signal...you should NEVER abuse it.
Only use it if you really need it. Dammit.

That certainly sounds like it sucks, but as long as your production rate expectation doesn't remain the same...play some minesweeper!

Loved it. And yes the 06+ had the under seat exhaust, but I went with the Competition Werkes GP slip on. It saved a good amount of weight and sounded amazing.

I will get another Triumph at some point, but I sold it to pay for the Hawk GT project, which turned into buying the FRS, so...dammit.

what a beautiful machine.
I don't see a lot of Triumphs around. Every one of my friends rides either an R6, R1, CBR600RR or CBR1000RR. Nobody has anything else. I think I might get one... Already have 3.2k saved up for the next bike.

Hate these idiots (they're going to seriously hurt with some of the shit they pull), but nice they are showing love. A few years ago I was at Coney Island enjoying a pie I picked up at Di Faras. A guy came up and asked if he could have some.. I gave him whatever I had in the box plus the slice I was eating and what was left of the ice tea I had. I didn't have any moola on me. I felt bad I didn't have more to offer. Guy was so happy just to eat the crust and leftovers..
A brosef of a brosef is doing a pilgrimage in Japan right now. Something like 1500 kms on foot, no money, but he's able to use a phone once in a while to send our brosef updates. He's only taking shelter at temples or from the kindness of the locals. He recently reported that a local gave him some bread. He said just a plain slice of bread never tasted so good. He cherished something that most of us take for granted sitting on our kitchen counter.
I like that last bit.. never look down on someone unless you're helping them up. Oss!

I weigh 146.6 lbs. The hood, with me standing on the scales, weighed 167.2 lbs. That's a difference of 20.6 lbs.
I will weigh the stock hood tonight.

So I noticed that the CF hood does not have that plastic chrome pieced that the OEM hood comes with at the front. I guess I'll search for how to remove and add it on the CF hood.

you have to punch out plastic pins from the oem hood trim .
I think there's three all together.

The front hood trim comes off with 4 bolts and then you move it left or right to get it off the fixed nub, IIRC.
