I mean, depends on how you view them...
I had a 193K mile unkempt German car that I was able to make CEL free for about $1000...
only thing were annoyances like door lock actuators...but if the car still gets you where you're
going, that's not a bad trade off...

Wranglers are like the new Civic. I suspect there's some catalog full of shitty mods that everyone is obligated to put on. Skinny fenders, angry face valence, black wheels with the fake beadlocks and the giant star center caps. Then you need to get some vinyl decals to replace the "Wrangler" on the hood with some kitchy name for the Jeep.
