3G Engine Cutaway (realy cool!)
I was on vacation last week in birmingham, AL and I managed to get to a science exhibit there. It wasn't Discovery Place, but it was better. Well, I came across this engine on display. To my suprise it was the same 3.2L that is in my 3G TL. It was really cool to see all the inside parts moving.
Pay attention to the power cycle. The cylinder lights up orange to indicate the explosion. In the pics you can see the coolant and oil passageways marked with green and brown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZJfPxY2YzQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjkoD8JVBFQ https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=18327 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=18326 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=18325 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=18324 https://acurazine.com/forums/picture...ictureid=18323 :thumbsup::thumbsup: |

Wow-cool! It's interesting that they chose an Acura engine for the display.

Now they should stick an intake and hear it roar. That is pretty cool!!

when I was a kid they made a see thru plastic engine model where everything turned- `the Visable V8`
The pics here make understanding the importance of timing belt tensioner replacement easy look at what that belt goes thru--at several thousand rpm.... replace everything at the 105 service |
