+1 on the HKS i have it and love it. when i was researching it it seemed like most people dyno anywhere from 8-14hp to the wheels. Fast Intentions and Motordyne exhaust have proven to dyno the same numbers as well.
Motordyne Test Pipes will be coming out shortly. Tony @ motordyne said they will be making variations of the test pipes some starting from a 2" from header and 2.25"/2.5" to exhaust depending on the diameter of your exhaust. since the HKS exhaust is a 2.25 i would either wait for motordynes test pipes or get Titek's test pipes since they are also 2.25".
by far the biggest gain from my butt dyno which has also been proven to give good amount of gains is the motordyne MREV2 + 5/16th spacer. there are a few people who have gained 15+ hp and 20+ tq across the powerband more mid range than peak numbers though.
i think you meant strut bar? since 350z's use different strut bars than the G's im not sure which would fit. you'll have to find out about that one. im sure there are some that will fit though.
basically the mods that net the most gains on average would be mrev2/spacer/tp/exhaust. just keep your stock intake its better than 90% of other intakes and is actually considered a cold air intake. as for the ECU Osiris from Uprev would be your best bet.

If the Z owner knows what he's doing, the TL doesn't have a chance. The 5AT in the Z/G is not REMOTELY close to the undergeared ill-shifting 5AT in the TL. The JATCO 5AT in the Z/G is deeply geared, has the correct rear gear for 1/4 performance, and a high stall torque converter. It's also why our mpgs are a bit worse than the TL 5AT. It's not a crusier setup. Pulling 2.0-2.1 60 foots in these cars is a no-brainer. My stock G35 5AT sedan did a 14.3@98mph stock and my G weighs about 200lbs more than the Z and has about 10whp less. Most stock 5AT Zs will pull low low 14s, sometimes upper 13s. The 5AT looses about 10whp/wtq to the 6MT, but the 6MT is much harder to launch. The 6MT will pull the 5AT above 80mph.
