Yes, I did search. Found conflicting data though so I wanted to confirm.

I purchased a 35w slim ballast hid foglight set for my 2005 tl. I didnt purchase a relay, because I figured it wasnt neccessary. After searching, I came across some posts that say a relay is neccessary (especially for the 55w version) even for the 35 w version. Some even suggest using a larger fuse . Any ideas?

Also, what mounting position do you guys suggest? Again, I found conflicting opinions using the search feature.

Any info on either of these topics would be fabulous. Also, scale from 1 - 10 on the difficulty of the install

good question. i plan on installing hids in my 08 also, and was wondering if we needed a relay harness.

or would it be better to just switch to a 85122+ bulb?
