Question 3000K or 12000K for Foglights???

i have a 2004 Abyss Blue Pearl TL,,, one of my foglights (driving lights) whatever you wanna call em, is out. Figured now's a good a time as any to to change up the color scheme a bit...

Should i go with 35W 3000K Deep Golden Yellow or 35W 12000K Purple?

I'm just changing the bulbs,, i'm NOT converting my foglights into HID's this is purely just a color change,, what do u guys prefer?

My headlights are the stock bulb and are going to remain that way if anyone was wondering.

I'm kinda leaning towards the 3000K Deep Golden Yellow because i think it would play off nicely against the blue pearl paint. but then again i think the 12000k Purples would look hot as well..

do you guys think the yellow is to Lexus-ish? know what i mean?, Lexus is known for doing that dramatic yellow in their lights usually. ugh i'm at a crossroads here because at the same time i think the 12000k's would just kinda blend too much when the headlights are on.

If you have pics of your setup please post!

one last thing our foglights for 04-06 TL's are 9006 HB4 bulbs correct?

....8000 k or 10000 k lol

Purple is ghetto IMHO but to each his own

so if you dont like the blue'ish color of 8/10 k then go yellow

same dilemma... it all depends on whether i clear my headlight or not.
if i do, i'll go with the 12000K, if i don't, i'll go 3000K

If you not running a full HID conversion, I would say go with 12000

and yes, 04-06 is 9006 bulb size

eh not complicated,, it's just your working in an area where one hand can only fit to do the work really,,, that's how it is for me at least, maybe i just have really big hands lol

it's not difficult,, just have patience,, it's a matter of twisting the bulb out and then disconnecting from the plug,, that was the hard part for me,, the plug is rather tight and hard to get off.

i was thinking of clearing the headlight as well,, but decided against that as i can't even figure out how to take out the stock headlight bulb! it looks like it's a major P.I.T.A.!

but yea i had the same thought if i was gonna clear it then i would def do the 12K but since i'm not i am leaning towards the yellow... wish their were some pics floating around with yellow in..... anyone?

go with 3000K, functionality over looks. 3000k will help you see better in bad weather conditions, esp since the white bounces back due to the HIDS

Need pics to pass judgement but I would probably say the 12000K because I just don't like yellow bulbs.

Question new question

thanks for the replies,, i wound up ordering 3K 55w Plasma Gold,, the 35watt ones were too dim...

new question is,, is it possible to make it so when you turn on your parking lights, then turn the foglight switch forward and have them come on without turning on your headlights? has anyone done this yet?
