300+ Horsepower possible on 04 TL?

Not looking to nuke the warranty, I was wondering if including the pending CAI that I have seen in posts below, are there any other means of boosting horsepower for this car? Computer interface, performance chips, etc.

I know what they are and what they do for other cars, I mean is there anything available for the 04 at this point.

Right now I am graduating into this arena from tinkering with two of the biggest pain in the ass cars in history. I own a 1993 420 horsepower 3.8L Supercharged V6 Thunderbird SC and a 1994 Thunderbird SC awaiting a 470hp powerplant. Always a fan of luxury performance, but I have bled down all the luxury out of these two cars. I have too much experience with customizing the engine controls to deal with 42 and 50lb injectors, 20psi superchargers and massive improvements to the intake and internals that I just dont want to do it anymore (lol)

I want to achieve more HP from the TL without having to dive into an abyss of crap already consumed by Christine and Elanor listed above. I just wanna know that I can smack an M3 if I needed to and not get *****ed at by the warranty company.

Thanks

Sorry - no M3, M5 or AMG smacking to be done by these cars (at this time). CAI's and exhaust "may" be able to add 30HP to get them over (or near) 300HP but your still going to be about 50HP short of the ponnies needed in order to contend with even a Mustang Cobra.

300+ HP would be nice, but I feel that we are already too close to the limit for a FWD car of this weight. The existing TL is almost squirrely if you floor it and there is traction problems - water, dirt, etc.

Agreed...I wonder how much power this car could really handle and handle effectively
